Beko Plc Fixed Price Repair Terms & Conditions

Beko Plc will provide a fixed price repair for the following brands Blomberg, Flavel, Beko, Grundig, Leisure and Zenith.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

  • A fixed price repair inclusive of VAT
    • Freestanding appliance repair - £145
    • Built-In or Integrated appliance repair - £155
    • Range cooking and American style fridge freezers appliance repair - £175
  • A repair by a Beko approved Service Representative to resolve the fault provided at the time of booking
  • The fixed price appliance repair fee includes VAT and covers:
    • Cost of the Service Representative’s call out and diagnosis;
    • Labour;
    • Full testing and a professional safety check.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED?

  • Appliances situated in caravans or on boats
  • Damage to Built-In or Integrated Glass Hob tops
  • Cooker Hoods
  • Microwaves
  • Food loss or consequential loss
  • We reserve the right not to complete repairs to appliances which have not been installed in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations, have been misused, neglected or poor installation or appliances which differ from the details used to obtain the quote
  • Repairs as a result of appliances being affected by flood damage or infestation

If our Service Representative visits and finds that your repair falls into any of the above categories, we will cancel the repair and charge a call out fee of £75.00. Your refund of the remaining amount will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days

YOUR FIXED PRICE REPAIR APPOINTMENT

  • Payment in full will be taken at the time of the call booking
  • We can only accept payment by a debit or credit card
  • You will receive an SMS with details of your repair visit
  • Our Service Representative will call out on the agreed date and carry out the repair to your appliance. If any part(s) are required, the Service Representative will usually order the part(s) within 1 working day of the call out
  • Our Service Representative will carry out a full inspection of your appliance. Once the diagnosis has been completed, if you choose not to proceed with the repair or your appliance is unrepairable you will be charged a call out fee of £75.00. Your refund of the remaining amount will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days
  • All repairs will require full and easy access to the appliance for example, be moved from under a work surface without damaging the surrounding facia. If your appliance cannot (in the reasonable opinion of our Service Representative) be easily accessed to facilitate the repair or the appliance is situated in an environment that is not safe for our Service Representative to work, we reserve the right to abort the repair. In such instances a call out fee of £75.00 will be charged. A refund of the remaining amount will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days
  • Parking that gives reasonable access to your property must be provided for our Service Representative. If parking is permit controlled, it is your responsibility to arrange for our Service Representative to park for the duration of the visit
  • Upon request we can post or email a VAT Invoice once the repair has been completed

CHANGING OR CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • You may change or cancel your appointment date at any time. Cancellations on the day of the visit date may incur a charge. If you wish to change or cancel your appointment, please call our Customer Services Department on 0333 207 2160. A refund will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days
  • If our Service Representative cannot gain access to the appliance on the agreed appointment date you will be charged a call out of £75.00. A refund of the remaining amount will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days
  • If you wish to cancel whilst your repair is in progress, for example, our Service Representative has visited once but will need to return to complete the repair, we will charge a call out of £75.00, provided no parts have been fitted. If parts have been fitted, you will not be eligible for a refund. A refund of the remaining amount will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days
  • If we or our Service Representative has to change or cancel your selected appointment date and any alternative dates offered is unacceptable to you, you can cancel your fixed price repair. A refund will be made to the card originally used for payment. Refunds should appear within 7 working days

IF WE CANNOT REPAIR YOUR APPLIANCE

  • If after a period of 14 days beginning from the first call out, the required part(s) is/ are still outstanding, either party has the right to cancel the fixed price repair. In this case you will be entitled to receive a full refund. This can be arranged by calling our Customer Services Department on 0333 207 2160. Refunds will be made to the card originally used for payment and should appear within 7 working days.

GUARANTEE PERIOD

  • The fixed price repair is guaranteed for 3 months from the date the repair is completed
  • Any part(s) fitted during the repair will be guaranteed for 12 months from the date of the repair. If this repair falls outside of the 3 months guarantee a £75 callout fee will be taken at the time of booking the visit.
  • Calls made directly to the Service Representative to request a re-visit are not covered under this guarantee
  • This guarantee does not cover any subsequent unrelated breakdown / fault(s) to the appliance
  • The guarantee becomes invalid if the appliance is not used in accordance with manufacturers guidelines

OTHER INFORMATION

  • We store the contract's contents and will send you details of your order as well as our general terms via SMS, post or email. You can find the terms on our website at all times bekoplc.com/fixed-price-repair/
  • We aim to repair all our branded white goods. The appliance type, model and age will have a major influence on whether we can promptly obtain replacement part(s) and ultimately complete the repair. It should also be noted that once a specific appliance is no longer made, we may no longer be able to repair the appliance, we will only retain replacement parts for a given period

AMENDING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read these terms each time you place a booking
  • All pricing is subject to change without notice.
  • By placing a booking, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

  • If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland. If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
